COMPLETE extre. RARE Ye Sylvan Archer Magazine set. 151 issues + Index & notices
The first issue of "Ye Sylvan Archer" was May 1927, last issue De. 1943. In all, 151 issues. Published ever other month/ every two months from the beginning till July 1930 issue. Then it became monthly in Nov. 1930.
However, there were some months when publication was skipped due to the great depression. Even the whole year 1934 and most of 1935 were skipped because of the economy. Months missed were Sept. 1930, Feb & July 1933, and from Oct 1933 - Dec 1935. EAch May was the start of a volume and some printing errors, for example May 1931 should be Vol 5 #1 but was mis-labled vol IV no.9.
Issues in the 30's are the rarest as fewer were printed. Due to the great depression people would not renew their subscriptions till finialy YSA had to stop publication for a lack of subscribers, they started up again a couple years later. Any way many issue in the 30's are especially hard to find. I don't have any documentation of this just common sense and the word of Wade Phillips.
These are the dates of the 151 issues.

I have every issue and the complete set of 151 is for sale in this listing. ALSO INCLUDED IS a set of 2 Indexes by C N. Hickman, A limited publication of 20 2 volume sets inscribed and signed by Wade Phillips to Floyd & Joney Eccleston on 5-5-83.
Also 2 small notices; one and expiration notice, the other a subscription form.
20 years ago Wade Phillips said that he thought only 20 complete sets of YSA were in existence. I, since then searched high and low and assembled this set. I think it is safe to say not many more have assembled sets and in fact sets may have been broken up to sell. I would hate to have to break up my set to sell it, but that is always a possibility. I have paid as high as 0 and issue and believe I have an average an issue into them. Having the best issues I have in this set. (I have many  duplicates, so this set has the best I have) many are Near Fine condition but also many have holes punched into them for binder storage. Others have small flaws like a small ink mark on a corner. 151 issues x average = 30 + the indexes etc. an easy 50.  Originally I offered this set for sale at shows for 50. But am offering it hear for 00 and after paying all the fees if sold will loose more. But if the set stays together that is worth it.
