    Description

    8" by 12" color print of Continental Airlines Boeing 727-243 N581PE taxiing at EWR in October 1987.  Delivered new to Alitalia in January 1980 as I-DIRM this 727 went to PeopleExpress in December 1984 and was re-registered N581PE.  After the merger with Continental it was eventually re-registered N12411.  It was removed from service in 1996 and converted to a freighter.  It was operated by various freight haulers and was last known to have been exported to Nigeria.

    All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise,  and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper.  Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed.  EBay image is a low resolution scan.  Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.  Most prints are borderless, however due to cropping and format variations some may have a small white border.****
