    Description

8" by 12" color print of Continental Airlines Boeing 747-238B at LAX in February 1987.  Delivered new to Qantas in December 1971, this 747 was supposed to go to Eastern Airlines in 1980 as N371EA and was painted before Eastern declined to take it.  It was re-registered N747BN by Boeing Capital Corporation before being delivered to PEOPLExpress in September 1985.  It went on to Continental in 1987 when CO acquired PE and was returned to the lessor in October 1991.  Garuda Indonesia leased it in May 1992 and it was scrapped for parts in September 1994.

All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise,  and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper.  Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed.  EBay image is a low resolution scan.  Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.  Most prints are borderless, however due to cropping and format variations some may have a small white border.****
