Rebuild Service for -7M-GTE CPS
I am offering a rebuild service for your aged MKIII Supra Crank Position Sensor.
You ship me your CPS & I will rebuild it & ship it back to you.
I've rebuilt many of these units already & have had great success bringing these old units back to life.
Skip buying another old used worn out CPS, for way too much $$ that won't work any better.
Just rebuild yours, it just needs some work & it will be functional again.
The prices of these used parts are way too high, so I am offering a better alternative.
I will test the coil output after rebuild with an Oscilloscope & DVOM to give you a measurement of what the actual signal output is.
Typically the post rebuild signal output is 3x-4x better than as received.
I run one of these rebuilt units in my own Supra & it starts and runs better than it ever has before.
No long cranking events, no issues with heat soak cranking, no hiccups in signal quality.
Just rock solid signal with the new pickup coils installed.
***Your CPS Core needs to be shipped to me to perform the rebuild.***
***Return shipping back to you is included in the listing price.***
Items Included With Rebuild:
Full Teardown & Cleaning of all Components
3x NEW Pickup Coils Ne, G1 & G2

New Coil Bracket Screws
New Cover Screws
New Male Connector w/ Pins, Seals Wiring
New Female Connector w/ Pins & Seals
New Wiring Wrap & Internal Wiring Sleeving
Coroplast - German OE Wire Loom Harness Tape is Used
I strongly suggest replacing the vehicle side female connector on the harness also. (I include these parts with rebuild)
This connector is also 30+ years old, so is likely brittle & in need of replacement as well.
I include the necessary connector, pins & seals with the rebuild so you can swap that out on your end.
The crimped/peened pin holding the gear to the shaft is replaced with an identical pin.
I peen the new steel pin as the OEM had designed, it will never come loose.
I do NOT use a roll pin as some other rebuild kits include.
The roll pin does not secure the gear properly long term, so I opt to use the OEM method.
Check photos for detail on this.
Rebuild service does not include a new CPS Cover.
But one can be sourced for additional $.
I have independently developed this method for CPS rebuild & it works great.
Thanks for looking!
