This type of craft dates back to the Edo period.The artist uses hammers and chisels to create the pattern on copper and then they smoke and polish the surface to bring out the unique finish. This is a finely detailed art that takes many hours for the completion of each piece.This pot is approximately three inches tall and five inches wide. It is a beautiful piece to display.
