Description

Rare Hitachi DT-DR5000 SVHS  DVHS VCR Player Recorder HiFi Stereo TBC (Time Base Corrector). Tested with regular VHS tape and found to be in good working condition. I managed to find a dvhs tape but won't display a picture. Not sure if is the unit fault or user error. I don't have the remote either. All the labels on the unit are in Japanese. The on screen menu is also in Japanese. Nice cosmetic condition. No cracks or dents. Operating voltage is 100V.
Limited tested performed due to lack of documentation and remote control. Tested with regular VHS tape and it displayed picture and sound. When I inserted a DVHS tape it did not display a picture. Consider that unit is useful
only
for playback of regular, non DVHS tapes.
