    Description

Offered is an Antique Opalescent Glass Three Footed Scalloped Rim Bowl manufactured by either Jefferson Glass Co. or Northwood Glass Co.  The Jefferson Glass Company was founded in 1900 in Steubenville, Ohio and operated there until 1908 specializing in the making of opalescent glass. In 1908, the company moved to a new location in West Virginia and sold many of its Steubenville opalescent glass molds to the Northwood Glass Company.  It is identified by Jefferson manufacturing #208 with Circa 1905.  The pattern is commonly called Ruffles and Rings and has a daisy pattern on the opalescent band.
The bowl is in excellent condition for its age with no chips, cracks, or scratches.  There is a brown hue at the top of the rim as seen in the photos.
Measurements are 8” rim diameter x 3” tall.
