    Lot includes:
Berlin coaster - black & white line art street scene, Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate)
The Brandenburg Gate is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, built on the orders of Prussian king Frederick William II. One of the best-known landmarks of Germany, it was built on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to the town of Brandenburg an der Havel, which was capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg. Located in the western part of Berlin's city center, one block to the north stands the Reichstag building, which houses the German parliament (Bundestag). The gate is the monumental entry to Unter den Linden, a boulevard of linden trees which led directly to the royal City Palace of the Prussian monarchs. Throughout its existence, the Brandenburg Gate has been a site for major historical events and is today considered not only a symbol of the tumultuous history of Europe and Germany, but also of European unity and peace.
Heidelburg Schloss coaster - black & white line art view of Heidelburg Schloss (Castle)
Heidelberg Castle is Heidelberg's landmark. The ruined castle is among the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. It has only been partially rebuilt since its demolition in the 17th and 18th centuries. It is located 80 meters (260 ft) up the northern part of the Königstuhl hillside, and dominates the view of the old downtown. The Heidelberger Bergbahn funicular railway runs from Heidelberg's Kornmarkt to the summit of the Königstuhl.
The earliest castle structure was built before 1214 and later expanded into two castles circa 1294; in 1537, a lightning bolt destroyed the upper castle. The present structures had been expanded by 1650, before damage by later wars and fires. In 1764, another lightning bolt caused a fire which destroyed some rebuilt sections.
