Lot of 62 USA Valentines All are from 1937-1939 ALL USA Great Lot!
Here is an awesome selection of Valentines, all from a scrapbook album dated 1937-1939. Every valentine was written underneath on scrapbook page, the year and who it was given by.
There might be a couple that snuck in that are German, but these are predominantly USA made.
All are shown in my pictures.
Unlike most valentines usually found in scrapbook albums, these were glued in with just a tiny bit of glue, and removal was easy
and kept them in nice condition.
The scrapbook was a thin paper that was crumbly from age,  it was messy, so I removed all the valentines.
For the most part, very nice condition, with only a small minority having noticeable creases/wear.  Those that did not have a glossy finish, toned in places(darkened), mostly from contact from the paper scrapbook pages,  there are maybe 10 of them
Largest valentine is the train 7" by 5 1/2"(crispy clean(no creases) it is a mechanical and it works fine(his arm moves waving)
The chubby cheeked girl honeycomb is 7 1/2" by 4" , there are a couple of other honeycomb ones and some other s with moving parts.
Only some of the thin paper valentines(hear t shaped etc, had printing on the back side(not all of them did though) and some of that finish was pulled when they were removed from the scrapbook.
Super nice pre WWII USA Valentines, a good buy for the condition, type and quality.
