Opalescent Vaseline Glass Spittoon Vase Whimsey Inverted Fan & Feather Dugan

Description

This opalescent glass vase measures approximately 4 3/4" tall, and 3 1/2" wide. According to the Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass, this is in the Inverted Fan and Feather pattern made by Dugan in the early 1900's. Northwood also made this pattern, but in Custard glass. This is the spittoon vase whimsy in canary/vaseline color. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. All four feet have a small surface scuff mark on the side of the ball part. There is a closeup of one in the last photo. It is a wonderful piece that glows brilliantly under the black light. Please see my pictures, and thanks for looking!
