I found this Betamax at an estate sale two months ago and have been on a journey to make sure it’s in good working order. Here’s what I know. It has Middle Eastern writing on top and says It will play Pal/ Middle East/in French Beta Max tapes. I did get a converter plug and have everything powers on and all buttons work. I’ve been purchased a American Betamax tape, inserted it, and the system turned the tape just as it should. This is why I am listing this as a functioning Unit. It also comes with the original remote and AV hook ups that came with the unit. If you need to converter plug let me know and I can include it.
