Locate the area where birds are roosting or landing. Use screws, nails, glue (included) or zip ties to attach the spikes to the area. The polycarbonate base is the most flexible solution to allow you to place the spikes on flat or rounded surfaces and to adhere well with silicone glue.
The spikes will not harm the bird as it tries to land. The spikes will act as a deterrent and the birds will fly away to find another perch or roosting place.
