Description
Originals. Engraved by George Hunt after M. Egerton, published in London by Thomas McLean, 26 Haymarket. The first is a man walking in the snow with the caption "A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in London." The second is a woman walking in the snow replying "The Same to You Sir and Many More of Them." Both prints in very good condition and beautifully framed. Originally sold by the Parker Gallery on Albemarle Street, London. Cards from the gallery are on the back of each frame. Dickens was about 15 years old when these were displayed around London. They capture the spirit of old London during the holidays. Domestic shipping is free. International postage is paid by the buyer.
