    Description

Originals.  Engraved by George Hunt after M. Egerton, published in London in 1827 by Thomas McLean, 26 Haymarket.  The more famous image is the man with the blown umbrella captioned "A Soaker or Real Cat and Dog Day".  The other is a large man tasting hot soup with the caption "Hot as the Deuce!".  Both prints in very good condition and beautifully framed.  Originally sold by the Parker Gallery on Albemarle Street, London.  Cards from the gallery are on the back of each frame.  The soup drinker's frame is damaged with some losses to the beading above the image.  Wonderful images.  Domestic shipping is free.  International postage is paid by the buyer.
