VTG 1950S CUT CRYSTAL W SILVER MESH CROSS & MEDAL ITALY CATHOLIC RELIGION ROSARY

This listing is for a vintage, 1950's made in Italy rosary. It is gorgeous, with cut crystal beads, and a wonderful mesh silver cross and medal. The medal is marked Italy. The silver cross and medal aren't marked Sterling, so I believe they are silver plate. They are beautiful, and have wonderful patina (the aged look that things get over time). The crystal beads are a lovely pear shape, nice and heavy, and cut to really sparkle in the light. There is no damage, and the rosary is a nice size. The beads are fairly large, measuring 5/16", and the drop (the length of the rosary from the back to the bottom of the cross) is 20". The cross and medal have no damage, and are really beautiful. I prefer the antique patina, but if you want to polish this so it shines, please see my buying guide on the "Museum Method for Cleaning Silver" for a quick, easy way to clean this piece without damaging the silver, and without leaving any ugly polish residue. It is a beautiful piece from Italy, and won't disappoint.
